Structural Engineer

A nationally recognized structural engineering firm with offices across major U.S. markets is seeking a Senior Staff Structural Engineer to join its growing Chicago team.

About the Role

You’ll work on technically challenging projects across multiple market sectors, collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to both design excellence and firm growth.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering

• MS preferred

• EIT required; PE preferred

• Minimum 2+ years of progressive structural engineering experience, including seismic analysis and design

• Experience producing construction documents, plans, and detail drawings

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills

• Revit and AutoCAD

• Structural analysis/design software such as ETABS, SAP, RAM, RISA, Enercalc

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Compensation

💰 $85,000 – $105,000 base salary, depending on experience, education, skills, and location
