The Control Tower Manager is a customer-facing operational leader, responsible for owning the day-to-day execution, stability, and performance of client account. The role balances: Operational control, customer engagement, cost visibility, continuous improvement, account stability and growth support.

The Control Tower Manager is for the georgia account is a critical, customer-facing operational leadership role responsible for stabilizing and managing the day-to-day execution of a complex, on-site supply chain operation in Savannah, GA.

This role leads a small on-site team, owns operational visibility and cost control, and serves as the primary interface with the customer, requiring strong stakeholder management and hands-on problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities | Day-to-Day Focus

  • Lead and manage the on-site operational team
  • Ensure end-to-end visibility of the supply chain
  • Partner internally with peers and senior stakeholders on the account
  • Support account growth and long-term strategy
  • Monitor and manage cost, performance, and service levels
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for the customer
  • Dynamically problem-solve daily operational issues
  • Maintain tight control of execution across: Planning, Coordination, Exception management

Must Haves

  • Strong operational supply chain background
  • Experience managing international freight & logistics
  • Hands-on knowledge across core logistics products, ideally: Ocean freight (high priority), Air freight, Road freight, Customs
  • Proven experience managing day-to-day operations, not only growth.
  • People management experience: Minimum: 2+ years leading teams, small teams.
  • Supply chain experience: Minimum: 5+ years | Customer facing
  • Industry: Manufacturing experience is preferred and aligned, however, global supply chain experience is more critical than a specific industry. Candidates from logistics-heavy or operationally complex environments are welcome.
  • TMS / WMS platforms (Preferred)
