Manager & Senior Manager – Fund Accounting

A powerhouse in the world of alternative investments, there are two exciting Fund Accounting Manager roles available. With a variety of investment strategies, including credit, private equity, real assets, and listed equities. – the Fund Accounting Manager & Senior Manager will be responsible for maintaining the books and records for various private partnerships and accounts, as well as reporting to clients and the portfolio group.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of pooled private investment funds organized as limited partnerships
    Preparation and review of complex management fee and waterfall calculations
  • Record cash, investments and other balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of allocations of income and expense allocations, including updating of distribution waterfall based on the terms of the governing documents
  • Determining and preparing distributions and drawdowns
  • Coordinating with funds’ independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant accounting or audit experience within public accounting or investment management industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
  • Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
  • CPA a plus
