Associate Director, Fund Accounting
Our client is seeking an Associate Director of Fund Accounting to join the Private Equity leadership team in Radnor, PA. This senior role offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction and financial performance within a fast-growing organization. You will manage key client relationships, lead and develop a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional service delivery that meets and exceeds industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
In the capacity of Associate Director Fund Accounting, you will assume considerable responsibility for advancing both strategic growth initiatives and operational excellence within the Private Equity division. Your daily undertakings will involve crafting robust business plans that foster financial achievement while nurturing pivotal client relationships through effective stewardship. You will engage extensively with internal teams—spanning Business Development to operational support—to ensure that systems are harmonized with organizational aspirations. By taking charge of performance metrics such as resource allocation and succession planning, you will help secure enduring commercial sustainability. Your remit also encompasses involvement in client negotiations, oversight of intricate reporting requirements across multiple teams, facilitation of new client integrations, dissemination of best practices among teams, and active participation in continuous improvement efforts at the group level. Success in this role is predicated upon your ability to balance strategic foresight with practical management whilst upholding a steadfast commitment to delivering superior standards of service.
- Formulate, oversee, and evaluate the execution of strategic business plans designed to enhance financial performance and generate new opportunities for both your team and the wider organization.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development colleagues to cultivate a network of influential contacts, including prospective clients and industry leaders, thereby supporting the expansion of Private Equity fund services.
- Work in partnership with support teams to ensure that systems and operations are optimally aligned with the Private Equity fund services strategy, facilitating both tactical and strategic change initiatives as an active sponsor or business lead.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships by serving as a principal point of contact for day-to-day enquiries and resolving any issues within client teams promptly and with utmost professionalism.
- Act as an authorized signatory on matters pertaining to service delivery, ensuring strict adherence to company policy as well as professional and regulatory standards whilst providing high-quality service to clients.
- Take comprehensive ownership of team economics and performance by aligning resource allocation, succession planning, and business objectives for commercially sustainable results.
- Participate in client fee quotations, negotiations, and regular reviews of existing relationships to ensure satisfaction; proactively identify new service opportunities and address any deficiencies in provision.
- Oversee team managers by supervising planning, scheduling, monitoring workloads, and ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met across multiple teams.
- Lead or participate in new client proposals and presentations as required; manage the seamless integration of new clients into group procedures for efficient onboarding.
- Contribute to overall business improvement by identifying enhancements in policies or procedures through committee participation or routine business activities.
