Our client is seeking a Controller to join a world-renowned, family-owned innovator in the construction and agricultural machinery space. They are currently investing heavily in their North American operations, and that means the stability of a global giant paired with the "ground floor" excitement of a major regional expansion and significant career upside.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Controller for North American operations, you won’t just be managing books, you’ll be a key driver of growth. You will oversee financial accuracy, lead a dedicated accounting team, and provide the strategic analysis necessary to fuel a massive manufacturing scale-up.

  • Financial Leadership: Direct all financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for North American operations.
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee cost analysis and product profitability for a state-of-the-art production facility.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a high-performing team and a pipeline for internal promotion.
  • Compliance & Risk: Liaise with external auditors and international tax preparers while implementing strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide financial analysis for pricing, capital investments, and contract negotiations.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (CPA preferred).
  • Experience: 7+ years in accounting management/general ledger, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Industry Knowledge: 3–5 years of manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to report complex data to senior management.
