Finance Manager

Our client, a global leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC), has recently acquired a specialized healthcare service site. We are seeking a Site Finance Lead to transition the business from legacy, family-owned processes to a professional corporate cadence.

Key Responsibilities:
This is a newly created, autonomous position. You will be the sole finance presence on-site, responsible for establishing structure and acting as a pragmatic partner to the scientific leadership team.

• Establish the Cadence: Build the monthly close process, manage all journal entries, and handle day-to-day accounting.
• Corporate Reporting: Act as the direct link to an overseas Head Office; explaining financial performance and driving forecasting accuracy.
• Professionalization: Implement the "rhythm" of a corporate finance function where limited structure currently exists.
• Change Management: Navigate the sensitivities of an acquisition, including the transition of legacy billing resources and workflows.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Significant experience in Services, Healthcare, Pharma, or TIC environments. (Retail, manufacturing, or banking backgrounds are not suitable for this business model).
• Technical Base: Strong accounting foundation with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach. You must be comfortable being hands-on with the data.
• Transition Skills: Ideally, you have experience moving a business from a private/family-owned environment into a corporate structure.
• Maturity: Pragmatic, operationally focused, and capable of managing change with diplomacy.
