Our esteemed client is currently seeking a Manager of Audit II - BSA/AML to lead the planning and execution of Financial Crimes audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing risks, developing and executing detailed audit programs, analyzing results of testing performed, and effectively communicating audit results to senior management. They will also be responsible for maintaining and executing a continuous monitoring program in accordance with audit methodology.
As the Manager of Audit II - BSA/AML, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Planning, executing, and evaluating audit test plans for BAU audits and regulatory validations. This includes assessing risks and controls, designing comprehensive audit programs, executing audit procedures, and supervising and reviewing the work of others.
Analyzing and synthesizing results of testing performed. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering well-written audit reports and other forms of communication that effectively communicate audit results to senior management.
Collaborating with other audit groups to effectively plan, integrate, and execute audits. The successful candidate will work closely with other audit groups to ensure that audits are planned and executed in a manner that is consistent with audit methodology and best practices.
Understanding fraud, BSA/AML, and general IT risks to identify and assess key control activities in business processes. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of fraud, BSA/AML, and general IT risks and will be able to identify and assess key control activities in business processes.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of audit or compliance/risk management experience, ideally with a focus on BSA/AML or OFAC/sanctions.
A minimum of 3 years of experience conducting internal audits within financial institutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated negotiation and leadership skills.
The ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, think innovatively, and demonstrate critical problem-solving skills.
