Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Advisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising all aspects of business counseling, accounting, and tax preparation: The Senior Business Advisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of business counseling, accounting, and tax preparation. They will ensure that all clients receive the highest level of service and that all work is completed accurately and on time.
- Monitoring business production pertaining to reviewing accounting reports: The Senior Business Advisor will be responsible for monitoring business production pertaining to reviewing accounting reports. They will ensure that all clients are meeting their financial goals and that they are on track to achieve their objectives.
- Providing guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of financial issues: The Senior Business Advisor will be responsible for answering technical processing and accounting questions for clients. They will provide guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of financial issues.
- Potentially hiring, training, and supervising business associates: The Senior Business Advisor may be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising business associates. They will ensure that all associates are properly trained and that they are providing the highest level of service to clients.
- Managing special projects as assigned; including responsibilities for managing the office or sections of the office: The Senior Business Advisor will be responsible for managing special projects as assigned. They may also be responsible for managing the office or sections of the office.
- Developing strong relationships with clients: The Senior Business Advisor will be responsible for becoming a trusted business advisor for clients. They will develop strong relationships with clients and provide them with the guidance and advice they need to succeed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills/attributes:
- Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license: The ideal candidate will possess a Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license. They will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and will be able to provide guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of financial issues.
- 7+ years of accounting and business advising experience: The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of accounting and business advising experience. They will have a strong understanding of the financial needs of small businesses and will be able to provide guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of financial issues.
- 2+ years of proven experience growing and managing a team: The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of proven experience growing and managing a team. They will have a strong understanding of how to motivate and manage a team of professionals and will be able to provide guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of financial issues.
- Proven ability to solve practical problems while dealing with a variety of variables: The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to solve practical problems while dealing with a variety of variables. They will be able to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment: The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment. They will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High proficiency in accounting and office software applications: The ideal candidate will have a high proficiency in accounting and office software applications. They will be able to use a wide range of software applications to manage client accounts and provide guidance and advice to clients.
