Senior Associate – Control Room

They are seeking a Senior Associate for their Control Room. This role is integral to the company's commitment to fulfilling regulatory obligations and managing conflicts of interest. The successful candidate will be implementing the global Control Room strategy, ensuring the firm meets their regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate in the Control Room, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be implementing the global Control Room strategy, ensuring that all regulatory obligations are met. You will administer firm-wide policies, establish and monitor information barriers, and manage conflicts of interest across various groups. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of firm watch lists and restricted lists. Your role will also involve regular interaction with senior management as well as business, legal, and compliance personnel across the entire organization.

  • Implementing the global Control Room strategy
  • Administering firm-wide policies to ensure regulatory obligations are met
  • Establishing and monitoring information barriers to prevent misuse of material nonpublic information
  • Identifying, escalating, and managing conflicts of interest across groups regionally and globally
  • Overseeing the implementation, communication, and maintenance of firm watch lists and restricted lists
  • Managing and enforcing the firm’s information barrier, including wall-cross requests and related e-communications surveillance

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Associate – Control Room position brings a wealth of relevant experience to the table. With at least 4-5 years in the field and a minimum of 2 years in a control room or similar role, you have honed your organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Your project management experience has equipped you with the ability to deliver on initiatives effectively. You have demonstrated experience in managing conflicts of interest and can take a pragmatic approach to risk and compliance while achieving desired outcomes. Your ability to work independently as well as partner with international teams makes you an invaluable asset.

  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years in control room or similar role
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Project management experience with proven ability to deliver on initiatives
  • Experience in managing conflicts of interest
  • Ability to take a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk and compliance while achieving desired outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and partner with international teams
