As a Senior Investment Controller in Private Markets Operations, based in New York, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of financial operations for private market funds. Your daily undertakings will encompass close cooperation with global colleagues as you oversee critical reporting functions, monitor investment activities, coordinate audits, supervise service providers, and facilitate effective interdepartmental communication. Additionally, you will be entrusted with imparting technical guidance to peers while spearheading continuous improvement initiatives that fortify operational controls. - Supervise, manage, and review Net Asset Value calculations as well as investor reporting processes to guarantee the timely and precise delivery of outputs to clients and stakeholders for various private market funds and mandates.
- Monitor and evaluate investment-related activities across multiple private equity programs, providing insights that underpin sound decision-making.
- Review and formally approve work completed by team members, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory obligations.
- Support audit coordination efforts by preparing comprehensive documentation, liaising with auditors, and facilitating seamless audit procedures.
- Coordinate with global teams on all matters related to investment controlling activities, fostering transparent communication channels across diverse time zones.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with a wide array of internal teams and stakeholders to promote information sharing and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and assess work performed by both internal staff and external service providers, upholding exemplary standards of performance throughout the operational chain.
