Senior Human Resources Generalist

Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in engineering and project management. This role is the perfect opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a deep understanding of drafting techniques, and is familiar with engineering principles. The successful candidate will be the link between project managers, manufacturing, and technical disciplines involved in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, your role will be pivotal in leading Project Engineers in preliminary product draft, design, and design evaluation. You will ensure that Project Engineer 1 are properly using CAD equipment and software to develop designs/layouts, elevations, and realistic renderings. Your expertise will be crucial in leading internal HVAC design – Ductwork, piping. You will also be responsible for redlining EOR and vendor shop drawings while reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with other POD components.

  • Lead Project Engineers in Preliminary Product Draft, Design and Design Evaluation
  • Ensure proper use of computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software by Project Engineer 1
  • Lead internal HVAC design – Ductwork, piping
  • Redline EOR and vendor shop drawings while reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with other POD components
  • Prepare material take-offs and lead reviews with Manufacturing Leads and Project Manager
  • Maintain an organized file system for production drawings

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Human Resources Generalist position brings a wealth of experience in engineering and project management. With a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math under your belt, you have spent at least 3-5 years honing your skills using design software. Your strong HVAC/Mechanical design experience sets you apart from others. Your advanced skills in documentation and attention to detail make you an asset to any team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience: Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience using design software
  • Strong HVAC/Mechanical design experience
  • Advanced skills in documentation and attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge in design for manufacturability
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and workplace policies
