As a Consultant, you’ll join a team of experienced recruiters who are specialists in their niche markets.

Your role will involve managing the recruitment process from beginning to end, providing an exceptional level of service to clients and candidates alike.

You can also expect to be involved in a range of business development and networking activities to help us build even stronger client relationships – and attract new ones.

At the same time, you’ll look to establish a strong pipeline of high calibre candidates within your sector so we can always match the right people to the right roles.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to deliver a true full-cycle recruitment, including:

  • Generating revenue by making placements and consistently exceeding billing targets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of your specialized industry and consistently show initiative to increase knowledge   
  • Source, select and match candidates with appropriate roles, ensuring only the highest quality candidates are put forward to clients, for existing roles or on a speculative basis 
  • Arrange interviews, ensuring candidates are fully briefed and providing regular communications and feedback 
  • Be an ambassador of the RW Brand both internally and externally and uphold and demonstrates RW corporate values and adheres to internal policies   
  • Set a good example and act as a mentor to all team members  
  • Organizing and attending meetings with prospective clients  


Candidate Management

  • Sourcing new candidates for the business using a variety of methods, including headhunting, referrals and networking events.  
  • Managing a portfolio of candidates by remaining in close contact with individuals actively seeking a new position and those who may be considering new roles in future   
  • Conducting telephone-based interviews   
  • Conducting face-to-face interviews with candidates   
  • Conducting specific headhunting projects   


Business Development

Meeting set targets in relation to:  

  • Researching news and developments affecting relevant industry sectors in order to build knowledge and credibility within the marketplace  
  • Proactively acting upon information gathered from candidates, clients and research  
  • Identifying business opportunities by speaking to clients and candidates selling the services offered by Robert Walters over the phone and during meetings    
  • Develop strong internal cross-divisional and cross-regional relationships to facilitate cross-selling with other teams and offices   
  • Ability to sell contained assignments and exclusive searches   


Client/Account Management

Meeting set targets in relation to:  

  • Developing existing relationships by arranging and attending meetings with existing and new client contacts  
  • Exceeding client expectations at all times  
  • Professionally and effectively managing the recruitment process from beginning to end (with supervision from senior consultants and/or managers)  
  • Demonstrates an ability to develop and maintain senior client contacts   
  • Ability to illicit senior roles from clients   


Administrative Tasks

  • Ensuring that the Profile system accurately reflects all business dealings with clients and candidates, including correct coding of candidates and ensuring that files reflect and hold all required statutory information  
  • Sets an example in Profile tracking and general administration  


About you

To join us as a Consultant, your skills and experience should include:

  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience preferred  
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, not required  
  • Ability to use initiative to solve problems and deliver results  
  • Willing to learn and develop new knowledge and skills  
  • Results driven  
  • Possesses a positive attitude with a drive to succeed  
  • Needs to be self motivated and have a high attention to detail  
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and commit to the objectives, goals, values, and culture of Robert Walters  
  • Able to effectively handle pressure
