Our esteemed client is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the Firm’s Information Barrier program and ensuring that the company and its respective platforms are fulfilling their legal and regulatory obligations while complying with the highest standards of compliance as set by the firm’s policies and procedures.

What You'll Do:

As a Compliance Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing and processing requests for communication across the information barrier in accordance with Firm policy
• Conducting communications surveillance
• Performing and coordinating a high volume of chaperoning where required
• Identifying and executing on improvements for the Firm’s Information Barrier program
• Assisting in the creation and implementation of new policies and procedures or, as appropriate, update existing policies and procedures in response to rule changes, industry guidance and/or evolving business
• Supporting and executing testing of policies and procedures

What You Bring:

Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager with the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant compliance experience within financial services, with at least 2 years of experience specifically relating to Information Barriers and Material Non-Public Information (MNPI)
• The ability to take a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk and compliance while achieving desired outcomes
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a high degree of responsiveness
• Strong attention to detail and inquisitive nature
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and manage shifting priorities
