Our client is seeking a highly skilled Investor Relations Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on compliance and legal aspects, particularly in managing increasing regulatory requirements and international compliance for fundraising activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, with potential to evolve into a Chief Compliance Officer role or similar positions.
What you'll do:
As an Investor Relations Compliance Manager, your role will be pivotal in navigating the complex landscape of regulatory requirements and international compliance. You will be at the forefront of communicating crucial compliance updates across the organization, ensuring all departments are aligned with legal standards. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you utilize data analytics to support investment decisions and compliance tasks. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with top executives including the CFO, CCO, and Head of Investor Relations.
• Manage increasing regulatory requirements and international compliance for fundraising activities
• Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior executives
• Communicate compliance needs and updates across the organization effectively
• Handle the evolving nature of the role as regulations and company needs change
• Use data analytics to support investment decisions and compliance tasks
• Collaborate closely with the CFO, CCO, and Head of Investor Relations
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Investor Relations Compliance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in legal compliance, particularly within financial settings. Your expertise in SEC regulations and international marketing laws will be invaluable in this role. You are adaptable, able to navigate changes in regulations and company needs with ease. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively relay important information across different departments within the organization. With 5-10 years of experience under your belt, you are ready to take on this challenging yet rewarding role.
• Strong background in legal compliance, especially with SEC regulations and international marketing laws
• Proficiency in data analytics to support investment decisions and compliance tasks
• Ability to handle the evolving nature of the role as regulations and company needs change
• Effective communication skills to relay compliance needs and updates across the organization
• 5-10 years' experience in relevant roles
• A legal degree or equivalent compliance certification is preferred but not required
