As a Paralegal in Capital Formation, your role will be multifaceted. You will manage fund formation documents, maintain investment fund launch timelines, and coordinate internal reviews of legal documentation. Your excellent organizational skills will be put to use as you facilitate information flow between different departments and oversee funds-related document management. Additionally, you will coordinate deal closing documents and assist attorneys with matter management. Your ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be paramount in this role.
• Manage fund formation document checklists and tracking lists
• Maintain investment fund launch timelines
• Coordinate internal review of legal documentation
• Facilitate front and middle office related information flow
• Oversee funds-related document management and recordkeeping
• Coordinate deal closing documents and distribution thereof
• Perform general corporate work, including drafting resolutions and correspondence
• Assist attorneys with matter management and e-billing process
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Paralegal position brings a wealth of skills and experience. You have a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least two years of transactional, litigation, or compliance paralegal or project management experience at a major law firm or financial institution. Your excellent computer skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills which enable you to communicate effectively with clients. Your strong attention to detail coupled with your ability to prioritize workload effectively makes you an ideal fit for this role.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum two years of transactional, litigation, or compliance paralegal or project management experience at a major law firm or financial institution
