Our client is seeking a Specialist in Compliance Testing to join their rapidly expanding team. This role is crucial to the company's compliance function, with responsibilities including conducting compliance tests, ensuring accurate results and reporting, performing root cause analyses, and assisting with remediation activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to spearhead the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Testing programme.

What you'll do:
As a Specialist in Compliance Testing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our client's compliance landscape. You will be entrusted with spearheading the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of their Compliance Testing programme. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting tests to assess processes and controls, ensuring that they are designed effectively and comply with company policies, laws, and regulations. You will also be responsible for identifying areas of improvement within the Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS), assessing any relevant operational risks. Your role extends beyond testing; you will provide vital compliance support during external audits and complete necessary documentation under the Compliance Testing plan.
• Spearhead the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Testing programme.
• Participate in the creation and administration of a periodic risk assessment associated with the Compliance Testing programme.
• Conduct testing to assess the design and effectiveness of processes and controls.
• Ensure that the Compliance Testing programme provides adequate coverage of the Company’s compliance with established requirements.
• Identify areas of improvement in the Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS) and assess any relevant operational risks.
• Provide compliance support for external audits.
• Complete tracking logs, reports, and other documentation required under the Compliance Testing plan.
• Assist in periodic assessments of the Compliance Testing programme to evaluate programme effectiveness.


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Specialist in Compliance Testing role brings a wealth of experience in audit or testing activities along with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university. Familiarity with consumer lending regulations would be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential for this role. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent judgement and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under stress are also key attributes for success in this role.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university; minimum 4 years of experience performing audit or testing activities.
• Familiarity with consumer lending regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
• Excellent judgement and communication skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task under stress.
