Our client, a global leader in alternative asset management, is seeking an experienced Registered Funds Attorney VP to join their Legal & Compliance team. What you'll do:
As a Registered Funds Attorney VP, you will play a pivotal role in leading the formation and supporting the ongoing management of registered funds. You will be instrumental in assisting senior attorneys with project management, participating in product development across multiple jurisdictions, managing regulatory filings, and providing crucial legal advice. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you liaise with external counsel and various other counterparties regarding legal initiatives.
• Lead the formation and support the ongoing management of credit/insurance/real estate registered funds.
• Assist senior attorneys with project management and fund formation matters.
• Participate in product development of varied investment structures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage regulatory filings and oversee day-to-day regulatory compliance of registered funds.
• Provide regulatory and legal advice to investment professionals and business personnel.
• Communicate regularly with external counsel and various other counterparties regarding legal initiatives.
