Key Responsibilities:

• Offer daily counsel on a wide array of legal matters encompassing confidentiality, data privacy, regulatory compliance, employment law, intellectual property considerations, general commercial issues, and risk management strategies.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), software licensing contracts, SaaS agreements, service contracts, consulting arrangements, technology licenses, and other operational documents.
• Support legal matters pertaining to U.S. broker-dealer operations and assist with securing regulatory approvals necessary for business expansion into new international jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to address both legal and business requirements across the organization while maintaining open channels of communication and fostering trust.
• Advise on strategic risk assessment processes and contribute to the development of effective mitigation plans that safeguard the organization's interests whilst supporting responsible growth.
• Work in concert with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in all facets of product development and service delivery within the financial technology sector.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal policies and procedures by providing considered feedback informed by your legal expertise.
• Participate in training sessions designed to augment organizational knowledge regarding key legal topics pertinent to the business.
• Assist in managing relationships with external counsel when specialized advice or representation is required for complex matters.
• Maintain current awareness of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting financial technology companies operating globally.
