This role offers the opportunity to lead and expand partnerships, drive revenue growth, and build long-term strategic alliances in a fully remote work environment.

What you'll do:

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our client's innovative venture. Your primary focus will be to identify new business opportunities that align with their mission while nurturing existing relationships. You will be responsible for leading negotiations, securing mutually beneficial contracts, and developing comprehensive business development plans. Your collaborative approach will be crucial as you work alongside various teams within the organisation to ensure successful partnership execution. Furthermore, your role will involve tracking key performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives.

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities that align with the company's mission and growth strategy
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, clients, and industry stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations and secure contracts that deliver mutual value for all parties
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, including market research and competitive analysis

  • 7–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and a passion for sustainable and innovative products
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience building partnerships with corporate clients in industries related to sustainability, consumer goods or technology
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; MBA is a plus
