Junior Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing of Data Center networking equipment. What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Identify, troubleshoot, root-cause, document, and track failures and issues.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.
• Maintain test environments and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest software and hardware configurations.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Hardware Test Engineer or similar roles.
• Experience in hardware testing with networking products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems (e.g., JIRA, Git).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
