Senior Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Data Center networking equipment, where your expertise in functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing will be highly valued. You'll have the chance to collaborate with various teams and customers to ensure high-quality product releases.

What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Identify, troubleshoot, root-cause, document, and track failures and issues.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams as well as with the customer to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.
• Maintain test environments ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest software and hardware configurations.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years’ experience as a Hardware Test Engineer or similar roles.
• Experience in hardware testing with networking products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work onsite at customer’s location and collaborate effectively with customer teams.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems (e.g., JIRA, Git).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
