Our client is seeking a highly organized and communicative Logistics Coordinator to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and safe transportation of goods. The successful candidate will be a swift problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills, ready to work closely with the production team to achieve corporate goals. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to optimize logistical procedures, manage inbound and outbound freight, and utilize technology for efficiency.

What you'll do:
As a Logistics Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain. You'll be responsible for coordinating both inbound and outbound freight, communicating effectively with various teams to ensure productive workflows. Your keen eye for detail will help you identify bottlenecks in logistical procedures, allowing you to implement solutions that enhance efficiency. Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations will fall under your remit, as well as addressing any issues related to logistics and transport swiftly. Leveraging logistics software and automation tools will also be key in your role.
• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound freight ensuring timely, professional delivery.
• Communicate with management to achieve productive workflow and mitigate risk and loss.
• Coordinate and communicate with Production employees regarding products.
• Analyze and optimize logistical procedures, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to logistics, shipping, and transportation.
• Address any potential or real-time issues related to logistics and transport in a timely, professional manner.
• Utilize logistics software and automation to optimize procedures and track shipments.

What you bring:
The ideal Logistics Coordinator brings a wealth of experience from similar roles within production environments. With at least three years' experience under your belt, you have developed a strong knowledge of logistics management practices and procedures. Your proficiency in using logistics software such as EMS, along with MS Office Products, enables you to perform your duties efficiently. Your attention to detail is complemented by strong analytical skills which allow you to identify areas for improvement. Despite working in a fast-paced environment, your interpersonal skills shine through as you collaborate effectively within your team.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics management practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., EMS), and MS Office Products.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
