Vice President, Credit Risk Manager - FIs

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Credit Risk Manager for Financial Institutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a world-class team in a leading organization within the financial services industry

What you'll do:

As the Vice President, Credit Risk Manager for Financial Institutions, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the company from potential risks posed by various counter-parties.

• Monitor ongoing creditworthiness of counter-parties and their compliance with rules and regulatory requirements.
• Independently analyze financial statements to identify levels and trends in key metrics and ratios.
• Perform, lead or manage periodic credit risk examinations on clearing member’s risk management policies, procedures, processes, staff, and systems.
• Engage directly with senior personnel of firms both in-person and via virtual meetings.
• Work closely with department management on projects, cross-department collaboration, and mentoring of colleagues.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and adhere to written policies and procedures
