Our client is seeking a committed and dependable Director, Securitization Credit Officer to join their Credit Risk Financial Institutions Group. Your knowledge will directly contribute to their success as you delve into the realm of credit risk, evaluating thoughtful proposals such as CLO warehouse and lending facilities, capital call facilities, and ABS warehouse/lending facilities.

Key responsibilities:
As a Director, Securitization Credit Officer, you will be at the forefront of assessing risk, ensuring our client continues to thrive while managing potential challenges. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive credit analyses and risk assessments on structured credit and securitized product proposals. Your ability to analyze credit agreements and structures will be crucial in this role. You will also participate in due diligence calls or site visits, representing the firm with professionalism and integrity. Your ability to work together with others will enable you to collaborate effectively with bankers and originators to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of your analysis.

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analyses and risk assessments on structured credit and securitized product proposals.
  • Analyze credit agreements and structures, and perform stress tests to evaluate proposed collateral.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and positive attributes of each proposal.
  • Participate in due diligence calls or site visits, representing the firm with professionalism and integrity.
  • Craft detailed risk opinions and analyses, presenting compelling cases to senior management and credit committees.
  • Work together with bankers and originators to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of your analysis.
  • Monitor existing Credit Market portfolio, paying close attention to early warning signs of credit risk deterioration.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and macroeconomic factors that could impact our portfolio, proactively recommending adjustments as necessary.


Key requirements:
As a Director, Securitization Credit Officer, you will bring a wealth of experience in credit analysis or risk management, preferably within financial institutions or structured finance. Your strong understanding of structured credit products and securitization, coupled with your proven experience in due diligence processes and credit agreement analysis, will be invaluable in this role. Your exceptional analytical skills will enable you to interpret complex financial data and market trends effectively. You will also possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for presenting intricate information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 11 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management within financial institutions or structured finance.
  • Strong understanding of structured credit products and securitization.
  • Proven experience in due diligence processes and credit agreement analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work together with others, thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and risk assessment tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills facilitate effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
