The successful candidate will be responsible for developing methodologies and managing analytics for market risk models, supporting risk analytics initiatives and development relating to a wide spectrum of products.
As a Quantitative Market Risk Associate, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing functional testing to verify correct implementation of risk models, including replication and benchmarking. They will also be required to develop, test, implement and document risk analytics for new products. In addition, they will support the enhancement of infrastructure to implement new risk analytics models including controls to monitor their performance. The successful candidate will perform quantitative research to implement model changes, enhancements and remediation plans. They will work with stakeholders across business and functional teams during the model development process. The candidate will also be required to create tools and dashboards which can enhance and improve the risk analysis.
What You Bring:
The successful candidate will possess a Master's Degree in a quantitative field, with a preference for those with knowledge in statistical tools such as regressions, time series and hypotheses testing. They will also have knowledge of pertinent market risk models and the methodology behind them. Strong analytical skills are required to understand quantitative models. The candidate will have strong project, management and organizational skills. They will also have strong writing and presentation skills. Proficient programming skills in Python and database expertise are required. The candidate must have the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
