Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing the partnership strategy: You'll work closely with the regional Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer to develop and implement the partnership strategy for North America. This will involve identifying and agreeing on a target list of North American referral partners and key custodian relationships.
Securing new partnership agreements: You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new partnership agreements with new North American partners. This will involve developing relationships with potential partners, negotiating partnership agreements, and ensuring that the partnership is successful.
Planning educational sessions: You'll plan educational sessions for custodian relationship management teams to educate them on the company's service offering. This will involve developing educational materials, delivering presentations, and answering questions from the custodian relationship management teams.
Building the company's brand: You'll be responsible for building the company's brand in the market. This will involve attending industry events, publishing content, showcasing the company's capabilities, and networking with potential partners and clients.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge: You'll maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. This will ensure that you're up to date with the latest industry trends and developments.
Requirements:
A proven track record in partnerships in the investment management industry: You'll have a proven track record of engaging with and maintaining partner relationships in the investment management industry.
At least 5 years of experience in partnerships: You'll have at least 5 years of experience in partnerships, demonstrating that you have a deep understanding of the partnership landscape and are able to develop successful partnerships.
A strong network and existing contacts in the investment community: You'll have a strong network and existing contacts in the investment community, enabling you to quickly develop relationships with potential partners and clients.
Knowledge of custodian bank structure and processes: You'll have knowledge of custodian bank structure and processes, enabling you to effectively engage with custodian banks and develop successful partnerships.
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment: You'll have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, enabling you to effectively manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills as well as communication skills: You'll have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills as well as communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate with partners and clients and negotiate successful partnerships.
