The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking skills, communication abilities, and leadership qualities to drive sales growth, build robust customer relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities:
As the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue and growth targets. They will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion. They will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. They will lead by example and actively participate in sales activities, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and deal closures. They will identify new market segments, distribution channels, and business opportunities for growth. They will prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management.
In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing sales team. They will provide coaching, mentoring, and training to help their team achieve their targets and grow their skills. They will set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to help their team succeed. They will also collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for their sales initiatives.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess fluency in a major Asian language. They will also hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. They should have a proven track record of successful sales leadership, with at least 5 years of experience in F&B or FMCG industries. They should have a strong understanding of sales methodologies, market dynamics, and customer relationship management. They should have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. They should also have the ability to analyze data, interpret insights, and make informed decisions.
As the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will need to be a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and identify opportunities for growth. They should be a skilled communicator who can build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. They should be an effective leader who can motivate and inspire their team to achieve their targets. They should be a problem solver who can identify and address issues before they become major problems. They should be a results-oriented individual who can drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
