Our esteemed client, a government agency based in Western Australia, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Regional Business Manager to join their Americas Hub team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing office operations, managing budgets, maintaining records, and supporting events and activities. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership, project management, and office administration skills, as well as excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Regional Business Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to:

• Effectively organize and coordinate office operations and procedures, including managing correspondence and supply requisitions
• Maintain accurate monthly office accounting and bookkeeping records, manage petty cash, and reconcile monthly expenditure reports and statements
• Coordinate, maintain, and monitor regional, office, and operational budgets, and prepare vouchers and checks for payment
• Manage telephone and in-person inquiries, including meeting and greeting guests, taking messages, and arranging courier services
• Ensure compliance with the Department's record-keeping and reporting requirements, and provide guidance to all personnel on accounting practices
• Ensure that all activities undertaken by the Hub office comply with governance principles and local regulations, and take remedial action where necessary

Key Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
• A proven track record of providing high-level leadership at the office and/or business manager level
• In-depth knowledge of office administration responsibilities, systems, and procedures, and a demonstrated ability to embed processes and ways of working in an office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and knowledge of digital tools to support business processes
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a continuously busy working environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in supporting the delivery of events
• Citizenship, VISA, or relevant working permits to legally work in Austin, USA
