Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Advisor who will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base for products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fluid systems, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships ultimately to grow sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs, challenges, and objectives. Propose customized solutions that address their requirements and provide maximum value.
  • Opportunity Pipeline Growth: Develop and execute sales and account plans to expand the opportunity pipeline by identifying and qualifying new leads, prospects, and potential customers.
  • Winning Opportunities: Lead the sales process from discover to closing, including conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication, product demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Customer Education: Provide technical support and product training to customers to ensure they have a clear understanding of products and solutions.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Utilize market insights to identify emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, engineering services, and customer service, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track sales performance metrics, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and conversion rates. Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and optimize sales strategies..

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in preferably in Engineering (mechanical or chemical) or Business Administration
  • Proven track record of successful solution selling and business development, preferably in the fluid systems industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of products, applications, and industry standards.
  • Strong sales acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
