Business Development Representative

My client is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative ready to kickstart their sales career. In this entry-level role, you will be the key driver of new business opportunities, creating pathways for growth and success. If you are passionate about live entertainment and can turn that enthusiasm into measurable results, this may be the position for you.

As a Business Development Representative, your role will involve identifying and pursuing new sales leads, managing the outreach process, and qualifying potential clients. This high-impact position offers excellent growth potential, with the opportunity to advance into an Account Executive role over time. Prior sales experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, existing networks, and in-person outreach at hospitality venues
  • Assess and qualify leads to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Schedule meetings between potential clients and Account Executives
  • Meet or exceed performance goals related to setting appointments and completing sales pitches
  • Stay informed about the music and hospitality industries within your assigned region(s)
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions, including client communication, social media engagement, and public-facing activities

Qualifications:

  • Must be based in Austin, TX
  • 1-2 years of professional experience preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic about building relationships
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule to meet clients when necessary

Experience in music/entertainment, hospitality, or field sales is a plus
