Our client is seeking a dedicated and strategic Key or Channel Account Manager to join their team in Seattle. This role is pivotal in achieving company sales and profitability objectives by leading both indirect and direct sales channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with sales channels to deliver performance goals while representing a range of products and services.

What you'll do:

As a Key or Channel Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by leading both indirect and direct sales channels. Your primary responsibility will be to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic goals. You will establish productive, professional relationships with distributors and the sales team, leading a planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, KPIs, financial targets. Your ability to identify sales channel strengths and weaknesses will enable you to implement effective strategies or solutions. Regular communication with the sales channel will ensure their continued engagement and motivation. Your role will also involve performing competitive analysis to provide valuable market insights. You will regularly report on channel performance to your supervisor, suggesting ways to improve or overcome obstacles as needed. A key part of your role will be learning about new products and services in order to develop effective sales strategies. Lastly, you will proactively recruit new qualifying business leads.

  • Learn and master new products and services to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proactively recruit new qualifying business leads.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Key or Channel Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience in channel/distribution management as well as sales management. With at least 5 years' experience under your belt, you have honed your interpersonal skills and are adept at building strong professional relationships. Your positive attitude and ability to travel within the US will be key in this role. As a self-starter, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are not afraid to take the initiative. Your attention to detail and proactive mindset set you apart from others. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
