Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development
Our client is seeking a Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development. This role calls for a strategic leader with deep market knowledge, an established industry network, and a robust sales pipeline. Your role will be to lead and expand their IT solutions business in the U.S. market, build and manage a high-performing team, establish key partnerships, and drive revenue growth while serving as the primary liaison between the U.S. office and global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading the expansion of our client's IT solutions business in the U.S. market. You will be responsible for building relationships with key customers, conducting product presentations, developing go-to-market strategies, refining messaging with the marketing team, driving revenue growth through new business opportunities, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. Your leadership skills will be crucial in building a high-performing sales team where you will define roles, assign tasks, set performance metrics, oversee employee performance evaluations, and implement training programs.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key customers, including government agencies, municipalities, and enterprises.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging and sales collateral for different customer segments.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
- Oversee and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team.
- Define team roles, assign tasks, and set clear performance metrics to track progress.
- Establish and oversee an employee performance evaluation framework to drive productivity and accountability.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and sales effectiveness.
Key requirements:
The ideal candidate for this Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development role brings over 10 years of experience in IT solutions sales, business development, or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in SAP products or services. You have a proven track record of closing large deals and scaling sales operations. Your established network in IT solutions, enterprise software, testing solutions, etc., coupled with your experience in building and leading cross-functional sales and technical teams, will be invaluable. Your strong understanding of U.S. market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs will guide your strategic decisions. Your ability to work seamlessly with international teams, bridging cultural and operational differences, is crucial. Above all, your excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills will drive the success of this role.
- 10+ years of experience in IT solutions sales, business development, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP products or services.
- Proven track record of closing large deals and scaling sales operations.
