Account Executive
A fast-growing sports betting technology company is seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive sales and build relationships with both B2C and B2B clients. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup, take ownership of your pipeline, and contribute directly to revenue growth across multiple products.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and close new accounts in both B2C and B2B channels, including sportsbooks, affiliates, and individual high-value users.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing upsell opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and forecasting accurately in collaboration with founders.
- Product Expertise: Understand and communicate the value of all company products, tailoring pitches and demos to client needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align sales strategies with broader business objectives.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track performance metrics, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue generated, and use insights to optimize approach.
- Event & Partnership Support: Represent the company at key industry events, support affiliate campaigns, and engage in partnership opportunities to drive revenue.
Key Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development—experience in SaaS, sports, or gaming sectors is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, manage pipelines, and close deals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to convey product value clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and results.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Passion for sports or sports betting is a plus but not required.
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
Within the first 12 months:
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Develop relationships with key B2B clients and high-value B2C users, driving retention and upsells.
- Contribute insights from client interactions to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, partnerships, and other growth initiatives.
- Establish yourself as a trusted and influential member of the team, helping to lay the foundation for scaling the sales organization.
