Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer based in San Jose, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing bespoke technical solutions for customers in high-tech industries. - Identify new sales opportunities by actively engaging in customer acquisition activities to expand the customer base within high-tech industries.
- Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients across various sectors.
- Collaborate closely with executives as well as engineering teams located both in the United States and Germany to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide comprehensive support throughout project start-up phases while maintaining ongoing customer relationships for continued satisfaction.
- Manage internal and external projects efficiently by overseeing all aspects of project control from inception through completion.
- Establish and nurture a robust local sales network that supports long-term business growth within the region.
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows by showcasing innovative products and building valuable connections with potential clients.
- Work cross-functionally with diverse teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and technical solution delivery.
- Contribute insights into market trends and customer feedback to inform product development initiatives.

- Reside within the Bay Area (San José) or are willing to relocate for this opportunity, ensuring proximity to key clients and partners.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science, Physical Engineering or similar fields; a Master’s degree is highly regarded.
- Possess at least five years’ experience working within a technical corporate environment where collaborative teamwork was essential.
- Have demonstrated at least two years’ experience supporting customers or engaging in sales-related activities within an engineering context.
- Showcase proven ability to solve complex technical problems through analytical thinking and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Display enthusiasm for learning about adhesives technology through intensive training provided both locally and internationally; prior expertise is not required.
- Demonstrate willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for training sessions or client meetings.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
