ASIC Sales Manager
A global technology leader is seeking an ASIC Sales Manager to join their California team. You’ll drive custom silicon solutions, build relationships with top clients in AI and semiconductor markets, and work closely with technical teams. Key Responsibilities:
As an ASIC Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with leading tech executives to understand their needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored ASIC solutions. You’ll manage opportunities from early engagement through negotiation and closure, while staying connected to industry trends and key networks. Your work will drive revenue and strengthen the company’s position as a trusted custom‑silicon partner.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure ASIC design wins and drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships across semiconductor, AI, and system companies
- Partner with technical, project, and marketing teams to deliver tailored full‑turnkey ASIC solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to negotiation and closure
- Represent the company at industry events while staying informed on market trends and client needs
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong semiconductor industry experience, with a track record in business development or solution selling. They excel at building trust‑based customer relationships, navigating complex negotiations, and collaborating across technical and commercial teams. A solid educational foundation, potentially supported by further study such as an MBA, reflects their commitment to continuous growth and knowledge‑sharing.
- 7+ years of semiconductor or ASIC sales/business development experience with a strong collaborative track record
- Proven ability to exceed major sales targets through strategic, relationship‑driven engagement
- Solid technical understanding of ASIC design, SoC integration, or semiconductor manufacturing
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to simplify complex concepts and build trust
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field); MBA a plus, with a history of positive team contribution
