Our client is seeking an outstanding Platform Support Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and performance of the trading platform, managing incidents, supporting clients, and maintaining multiple environments. Your contributions will directly influence the reliability and efficiency of their trading operations.

What you'll do:
As a Platform Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining high standards of service for our client's rapidly growing trading platform. You will be responsible for managing incidents, supporting clients, and maintaining multiple environments. Your role will involve leading strategic management initiatives, serving as a point of contact for complex incident resolution, acting as a technical advisor to high-profile clients, spearheading innovation projects, engaging in cross-functional collaboration, overseeing alert responses, enhancing monitoring capabilities, and developing automation scripts. Your contributions will directly influence the reliability and efficiency of our client's trading operations.
• Ensure Platform Health by leading the strategic management and monitoring of multiple production and non-production environments.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for complex incident resolution in Incident Management.
• Act as a technical advisor in Client Support, collaborating with high-profile clients to diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical issues.
• Spearhead high-impact projects focused on Innovation and Optimization.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and leadership.
• Oversee response protocols for system-generated alerts and escalations in Alert Response.
• Lead the enhancement of monitoring capabilities through the development of custom scripts.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts to streamline processes in Coding and Automation.

What you bring:
As a Platform Support Engineer, you will bring a wealth of experience in Production/Application Support, Client Technical Trading Support, and DevOps. Your deep understanding of client needs and trading ecosystems, coupled with your extensive experience with AWS, GCP, and Linux environments, will be crucial to your success in this role. You will have advanced knowledge of Incident Management, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Your experience with monitoring tools like DataDog, Terraform, and Ansible will be highly valued. Your strong multitasking abilities and exceptional communication skills will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
• 7+ years in Production/Application Support with a proven track record of managing complex systems.
• Experience in Client Technical Trading Support with a deep understanding of client needs and trading ecosystems.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer demonstrating continuous learning and adoption of new technologies.
• Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, and Linux environments including system architecture and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of Incident Management, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash focusing on developing automation scripts.
• Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog, Terraform, Ansible.
• Strong multitasking abilities with capacity to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audience.
• Proficiency in creating and managing comprehensive technical documentation.
