Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

At Robert Walters, we believe in fostering inclusion, acceptance, and belonging in the workplace by employing individuals who bring unique perspectives to the company. All qualified individuals, including people of all races, national origins, ages and religions, people with or without disabilities, and people with any gender identity and sexual orientation, are urged to apply.

But we know it's not enough just to say we're committed. Important change requires action.

Here are some of the important discussions we're having:

What else are we doing?

Partnering with world renowned ED&I experts

Robert Walters Group partners with top external consultancies from around the world who specialize in creating ED&I strategies and initiatives that help us maintain a respectful and supportive work environment for every staff member.

Robert Walters Group Global ED&I Council

In November 2020, Robert Walters Group established it's Global ED&I Council, where we bring staff together in a forum to discuss topical ED&I issues and to ensure our business is striving to create a best-in-class culture.

Inclusive leadership training program

With assistance from an external ED&I consultancy, Robert Walters Group launched an inclusive leadership training program for our business leaders in February 2021. The training is setup to help our leaders understand their blind spots and offer them support with implementing inclusive practices in all areas of their role. From hiring and communicating effectively, to getting the best out of their team.

ED&I training for Managers

All newly appointed managers at Robert Walters Group receive ED&I training as part of the Group’s Manager training program. These sessions are designed to equip our managers with the skills they need to find and hire diverse talent.

Unconscious bias training for all

All Robert Walters Group employees participate in diversity workshops and undergo unconscious bias training to challenge any existing prejudice that could unfairly influence decisions.
