- Undertake thorough legal research and analysis on a diverse range of complex commercial litigation matters to inform case strategy formulation.
- Prepare meticulously crafted legal briefs, memoranda, motions, and other court submissions with precision and clarity.
- Engage actively in all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
- Assist with pre-trial preparations such as conducting witness interviews, preparing exhibits, assembling trial binders, and liaising with expert witnesses.
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates to devise case strategies that are consistent with client objectives and established legal standards.
- Communicate directly with clients to provide updates on case developments and to obtain pertinent information relevant to ongoing matters.
- Support settlement negotiations by preparing necessary materials and participating in discussions as required.

Key Requirements:
To thrive as a Litigation Associate in this capacity, you will possess demonstrable experience navigating multifaceted commercial disputes at either the state or federal level. Your background should reflect competence across all phases of litigation—from initial research through final resolution—while maintaining scrupulous attention to detail. You will be adept at working collaboratively within diverse teams where open communication is highly valued. A genuine interest in developing expertise around cybersecurity or data privacy issues will be advantageous as these fields continue their ascent in significance. Your interpersonal acumen will enable you to foster trust among clients and colleagues alike. Furthermore, your willingness to participate actively in mentorship programs underscores your dedication not only to personal advancement but also to cultivating a supportive workplace culture. Lastly, your commitment to pro bono service evidences your aspiration to effect positive change beyond billable work.
- Possess one to three years of post-qualification experience managing complex commercial litigation matters at a reputable law firm or comparable setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in conducting detailed legal research and drafting persuasive briefs, motions, memoranda, and other court documents.
