Director Data Science

Key Responsibilities:
As Director of Data Science, you will define the strategic direction for enterprise AI/ML initiatives. You will partner with executive leaders to prioritize analytics programs that address critical organizational challenges. You will oversee machine learning deployments, strengthen analytical platforms, and support adoption across core business functions. You will mentor high-performing teams while fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. You will champion data governance, regulatory compliance, and external thought leadership to deliver sustainable business value.
- Lead enterprise data science and AI/ML strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop and scale machine learning models, analytics platforms, and data-driven solutions.
- Partner with senior leaders to prioritize high-impact initiatives and translate insights into business value.
- Improve data accessibility, quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor high-performing teams and represent the company through data science thought leadership.
Key Requirements:
To excel as Director of Data Science, you will bring extensive experience designing analytics strategies for large-scale organizations. You will combine strong technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving across diverse teams. You will have a proven record of building high-performing teams, developing talent, and promoting an inclusive culture. Your communication skills will help translate complex concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also understand privacy, security, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement, process efficiency, and technology advancement.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10–12+ years of data science, analytics, or AI/ML experience, including team leadership.
- Expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, model deployment, and scalable AI/ML platforms.
- Strong communication, advisory, and mentoring skills with executives, technical teams, and diverse talent.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, governance, strategic execution, and willingness to travel up to 15%.
