Group Costpoint Accountant

Group Costpoint Accountant We're partnering with a growing, project-based organization currently transitioning its ERP landscape from Odoo to Deltek Costpoint to find a Costpoint Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines solid core accounting skills with genuine hands-on Costpoint expertise, and who wants a seat at the table for a major systems transformation.

About the Role

You'll play a central role in configuring, testing, and running Costpoint across the business, while also owning core accounting deliverables. You'll help migrate financial data from Odoo, strengthen controls to support SOX compliance, and be the go-to Costpoint expert for finance users as the organization moves onto the new platform.

What You'll Do

• Support configuration, testing and maintenance of Costpoint modules including General Ledger, Procurement & Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing and Manufacturing
• Own and drive a continuous improvement program for the Group's Costpoint ERP system
• Support data migration from Odoo (and other legacy systems) into Costpoint, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Maintain and strengthen base financial controls within Costpoint to support SOX compliance
• Partner with implementation and support partners on configuration changes, issue resolution and system enhancements
• Support integrations between Costpoint and other systems, including IBM Planning Analytics/Controller, PLM, and Azure SSO/MFA
• Prepare month-end and year-end close deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Provide training, documentation and first-line support to finance users adopting Costpoint
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, escalating to the implementation partner or IT as needed
• Support internal and external audit requests relating to Costpoint data and controls

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on consulting or configuration experience with Deltek Costpoint (essential)
• Solid grounding in core accounting principles - GL, AP, AR and reconciliations
• Experience with Deltek manufacturing modules, project-based budgeting, and Time & Expense modules
• Experience supporting or participating in an ERP implementation or migration project
• Strong Excel skills, comfortable working with large data sets
• Excellent communication skills, able to work confidently with finance and non-finance stakeholders, including external implementation partners
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy and controls
• Experience working across multiple entities or international finance teams (e.g., US and non-US operations)
• Prior experience operating within a SOX control environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in a project-based, government-contracting, or professional services environment
• A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Professional working proficiency in French
• Familiarity with DCAA compliance requirements and government contract accounting
• Familiarity with Group Finance EPM reporting systems such as IBM Planning Analytics (FP&A) and/or IBM Controller (Group Consolidation)
• Experience with Odoo or another ERP platform, particularly in a migration context
