O2C & R2R - Global Process Owner

A dynamic PE-backed global entertainment firm is hiring an O2C & R2R Global Process Owner to join its Finance Transformation team. In this newly created role, you’ll collaborate closely with the VP of Global Finance Transformation and CFO to redefine finance processes across international operations. Based in Manhattan, this position offers a hybrid work schedule and an exciting opportunity to shape the future of finance for a leading global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with global stakeholders to gather requirements, guide process design, and support customer-focused finance transformation across O2C and R2R.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, while overseeing SMEs to ensure effective system configuration and development.
  • Drive global process standardization and identify automation and improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, accuracy, and ROI.
  • Develop training materials, deliver user training, and act as the liaison between business and technical teams to keep projects aligned and on track.
  • Provide project updates to senior leadership and manage supervisory responsibilities including hiring, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related field required
  • At least seven years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems implementation, with strong expertise in O2C and R2R processes.
  • Hands-on experience with financial and ERP systems, including the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Proven success leading process improvement initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and driving application development or transformation projects in large organizations.
  • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
