Key Responsibilities:

As a Paralegal – Legal Transactions, you will support complex commercial real estate matters from start to finish. You will prepare key documents for acquisitions, dispositions, leasing arrangements, and financings across multiple jurisdictions. You will manage transaction checklists, assemble signature packets, and compile finalized closing documents with accuracy. You will maintain organized digital transaction files and assist with lien releases, corporate governance materials, and asset management documents under solicitor supervision. Your attention to detail will help ensure smooth transaction execution and uphold high standards of integrity.

  • Draft and distribute closing documents for acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financings under solicitor supervision.
  • Prepare transaction checklists, track deliverables, and coordinate signature packets through each stage of closing.
  • Compile final executed documents and maintain organized digital closing files with accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with lien releases, corporate governance documents, and asset management materials as needed.
  • Support document review tasks such as PDF conversion, redlining, notarization, and apostille coordination when required.

Key Requirements:

To excel as a Paralegal – Legal Transactions, you will bring experience supporting commercial real estate or similar transactional legal matters. You should be familiar with preparing closing documents for acquisitions, financings, and corporate governance requirements. Strong organization and project management skills will help you manage multiple priorities accurately and under tight deadlines. You will need a detail-oriented, adaptable approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently when needed. Above all, integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment are essential to succeeding as a trusted member of the legal team.

  • Bring at least two years of experience preparing commercial real estate closing documents or similar transactional legal materials.
  • Prepare corporate documents such as formation papers, operating agreements, written consents, and related transaction materials with accuracy.
  • Understand complex corporate documentation relevant to real estate transactions and legal closing processes.
  • Manage multiple deliverables across concurrent transactions while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong organization, problem-solving skills, integrity, and willingness to obtain New York Notary Public certification if needed.
