ASIC Sales Manager

Save job

A global technology enterprise seeks an ASIC Sales Manager for its U.S. sales team. The role focuses on securing ASIC design and turnkey silicon programs across AI, hyperscale computing, data center, networking, and bespoke silicon markets. It requires leading technical sales, building strategic client relationships, and managing complex opportunities with major industry stakeholders. The position offers flexibility, Taiwan collaboration, and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

As ASIC Sales Manager in San Jose, you will drive technical sales across artificial intelligence, hyperscale computing, networking, data center, and bespoke silicon markets. You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders, and expand strategic accounts. You will manage the sales cycle from initial engagement through negotiation and closure while translating client requirements into practical ASIC design and turnkey silicon solutions. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams in Taiwan, including engineering, program management, and marketing, will be essential to align customer needs with organizational capabilities. Success will require adaptability, strong relationship-building skills, technical credibility, and consistent achievement of sales targets in a competitive semiconductor market.

  • Develop and execute United States sales strategies to secure ASIC design and turnkey silicon opportunities across hyperscale, data center, networking, and OEM markets.
  • Identify new prospects, strengthen strategic account relationships, and engage key stakeholders across engineering, procurement, business development, and executive teams.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and closure, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Taiwan to align customer requirements with technical capabilities across ASIC design, SoC integration, packaging, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Position the organization as a long-term strategic partner by translating complex client needs into tailored silicon solutions and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring substantial technical sales or business development experience within the semiconductor, ASIC design, or bespoke silicon sectors. They should demonstrate a proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder transactions while building trusted relationships with engineering teams and executive decision-makers. Strong consultative sales skills are essential, particularly in managing extended sales cycles and translating customer requirements into practical ASIC design opportunities. A solid understanding of ASIC development, SoC integration, manufacturing, advanced packaging, and testing processes will support confident engagement with technical stakeholders. The role also requires adaptability, consistent sales achievement, stable career progression, and basic Mandarin skills to support coordination with colleagues in Taiwan.

  • Bring five to fifteen years of sales or business development experience within semiconductor, ASIC design services, bespoke silicon, or related technical industries.
  • Demonstrate at least five years of success closing complex, high-value, multi-stakeholder technical sales or professional services transactions.
  • Operate effectively in consultative sales environments with extended cycles, strong relationship-building requirements, and engagement across technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of ASIC development, SoC integration, physical design, manufacturing, foundry relationships, advanced packaging, and testing processes.
  • Show stable career progression, consistent sales achievement, adaptability, and basic Mandarin capability to support coordination with Taiwan-based colleagues.

What sets this company apart:

The organization stands out as a global leader in advanced semiconductor solutions, offering flexible working arrangements, relocation support, and meaningful collaboration between San Jose and its Taiwan headquarters. Employees benefit from supportive leadership, ongoing training, and an inclusive culture that values knowledge sharing, dependability, and collective success. Joining this team offers the opportunity to contribute to AI-driven applications, hyperscale computing, data center infrastructure, and bespoke silicon innovation within a forward-thinking, talent-focused environment.
