Senior Engineer
Remote-first company hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing e-commerce products with strong Shopify integration. You’ll own features end to end, shaping product and technical decisions in a lean team. The role combines polished frontend UX with robust backend engineering and collaboration across the US and Latin America. Expect autonomy, fast delivery, and a culture that supports growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will build end-to-end commerce features across backend services and polished frontend experiences. You will partner with a small agile team to ship new customer-facing capabilities, with a strong focus on Shopify-integrated products. You will own work from discovery through deployment, contributing hands-on code while shaping architecture and technical direction. You will deliver high-quality software through clear communication, feedback, and an inclusive, collaborative approach. You will adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and solving complex problems for global brands.
- Deliver end-to-end full stack features, integrating backend services with polished frontend interfaces.
- Collaborate in an agile team with engineering, product, and design to solve customer problems and ship quickly.
- Own customer-facing UI work, especially Shopify apps/blocks, to create intuitive, high-quality user journeys.
- Balance backend (Node.js/NestJS) and frontend (React/Vue) work, adapting to priorities while maintaining quality.
- Shape scalable architecture and engineering standards through reviews, testing, documentation, and reliable deployments (e.g., Kubernetes).
Key Requirements:
You bring strong full-stack experience building backend services in Node.js/NestJS and modern frontends in React (preferred) or Vue. You have delivered complex web applications—ideally in e-commerce—and thrive in small, high-ownership product teams. You are comfortable deploying and operating in containerized environments such as Kubernetes, even if DevOps is not your primary focus. You communicate clearly and collaborate respectfully across a distributed, multi-time-zone team while keeping users’ needs at the center. You stay adaptable, maintain high code-quality standards, and actively learn, share knowledge, and support teammates’ growth.
- Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js and NestJS, building scalable services.
- Proficiency in modern frontend development using React (preferred) or Vue.
- True full-stack mindset, ideally with e-commerce experience (Shopify a strong plus) and UI-intensive product work.
- Comfort in containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes) and in lean teams where adaptability and shared ownership matter.
- Clear communicator in distributed teams, committed to clean, tested code, constructive reviews, and continuous learning.
What sets this company apart:
This is a genuinely remote-first team with no planned return-to-office mandates, where engineers have real ownership and influence in a small, high-impact environment. The culture moves quickly without sacrificing quality, encouraging experimentation, strong standards, and direct collaboration over hierarchy. You’ll receive competitive remote-friendly benefits (medical/dental, 401(k), potential equity) plus exceptional flexibility and a supportive network for mentorship and growth.
