Key Responsibilities:
As an Application Engineer – Video Integrated Circuits, you will support chip development from lab prototyping through large-scale production. You will work closely with design teams to ensure chips meet real-world performance and quality standards. The role involves bridging hardware and software teams while evaluating analog and digital circuits using advanced tools. You will also support field application engineers and help resolve complex customer and production issues. Your work will contribute to the advancement of video IC technology across growing markets such as surveillance and automotive.
- Test and validate high-bandwidth video chains, resolving noise, timing, and production issues to ensure reliable real-world performance.
- Act as a key link between hardware and software teams, supporting effective collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering groups.
- Evaluate analog and digital integrated circuits using advanced lab equipment, PCB debugging, firmware analysis, and integrated toolchains.
- Support field application engineers and customers by translating complex video IC requirements, including MIPI and HDMI standards, into practical solutions.
- Manage chip development from prototype through volume tape out while documenting results, sharing insights, and tracking industry trends.
Key Requirements:
To excel as an Application Engineer – Video Integrated Circuits, you should have a BSEE or equivalent qualification and at least three years of relevant production experience. Strong hands-on skills in PCB debugging, firmware analysis, and analog/digital chip evaluation are essential. Familiarity with video standards such as MIPI or HDMI will help you translate technical requirements between design teams and field application engineers. You should bring strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a dependable approach to multidisciplinary teamwork. A commitment to continuous learning and awareness of industry trends will support product innovation and long-term success.
