A leading technology company is hiring an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit Engineer to develop mixed-signal chips for video surveillance and automotive safety systems, including ADAS. The role involves working with a skilled engineering team on impactful products across multiple sectors. Employees benefit from flexible working arrangements, generous pension contributions, and strong professional training. It is ideal for growth in supportive inclusive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit Engineer, you will help create integrated circuits for video surveillance and automotive safety systems. You will collaborate on complex hardware projects, manage evaluation board development, integrate FPGA firmware, and work with standards such as MIPI and HDMI. You will conduct signal integrity analysis and resolve hardware issues using specialized lab equipment. Strong documentation, cross-functional teamwork, and awareness of industry developments will be essential to success. Your experience in high-volume CMOS video IC production will support successful product launches and advance imaging technology.

  • Design, implement, and verify advanced mixed-signal ASICs for video processing in surveillance and automotive systems.
  • Develop evaluation board schematics, support PCB bring-up, and ensure reliable hardware performance throughout development.
  • Integrate FPGA firmware and apply MIPI, HDMI, and related video interface standards to support prototyping and compliance.
  • Conduct signal integrity analysis, EMI mitigation, and hands-on hardware debugging using specialized lab tools.
  • Support high-volume CMOS video IC production while documenting processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring strong practical experience in mixed-signal ASIC design for video processing applications. They will be skilled in schematic creation, PCB bring-up, FPGA firmware integration, and standards such as MIPI and HDMI. Experience launching commercial CMOS video ICs into high-volume production will be essential. The role also requires clear technical documentation and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. A commitment to continuous learning and strong interpersonal skills will help the candidate succeed in an inclusive engineering environment.

  • Bring at least three years of practical mixed-signal ASIC design experience for video processing applications.
  • Create evaluation board schematics, support PCB bring-up and integrate FPGA firmware for hardware prototyping.
  • Apply strong knowledge of MIPI, HDMI, audio protocols, signal integrity analysis, and EMI mitigation.
  • Demonstrate success launching commercial CMOS video IC products into high-volume production environments.
  • Communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and stay current with evolving video and audio interface standards.
