In this role, you will lead new customer installations of advanced warehouse management, manifest and shipping, and vendor-managed inventory systems from initial discovery through successful go-live.

You will manage technical projects, configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and deliver customer training while driving meaningful improvements in productivity and order accuracy. The position offers the opportunity to support wholesale and industrial distributors across North America within a collaborative company backed by decades of industry experience. Based on-site in Bothell, this stable role provides close engagement with local clients and a supportive environment where your expertise and contributions are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

As a System Implementation Engineer within the Professional Services team, you will play a central role in overseeing new customer installations of sophisticated warehouse management solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their operational workflows and translate those insights into actionable project plans that guide each implementation from inception through completion. You will configure systems to individual client specifications, promptly resolve technical issues, and thoroughly document every phase of the project. Success in this role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously while providing exemplary support during pivotal moments such as go-live. You will also create tailored training resources and deliver them onsite and remotely, ensuring customers are prepared to use their new systems effectively while fostering trust, supporting smooth technology adoption, and improving productivity and accuracy.

  • Lead customer discovery sessions, document business objectives and implementation requirements, and develop detailed project plans through successful deployment.
  • Manage multiple project schedules, budgets, stakeholder communications, and implementation risks to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Advise customers on optimal system configurations and serve as the lead engineer for resolving software and hardware issues across diverse environments.
  • Create tailored training materials and system documentation, then deliver effective on-site or remote training to support successful user adoption.
  • Conduct on-site process reviews, provide go-live support, and maintain accurate records of project progress, system changes, and customer feedback.

Key Requirements:

The ideal System Implementation Engineer has extensive experience leading complex software deployments in warehouse or logistics environments. Strong technical knowledge includes Microsoft Server platforms, SQL databases, virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, networking principles such as RF and Wi-Fi, and hardware integration including thermal label printers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for understanding customer needs, translating them into practical solutions, documenting processes clearly, and delivering effective training to users at all proficiency levels. Exceptional organizational abilities enable the successful management of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of service, collaboration, and adaptability as client requirements evolve. The role also requires a willingness to travel locally to provide support during critical stages of implementation.
